This is life

I think that I had something really meaningful to post tonight, but I can't remember. See, our septic tank is backed up and we have a history with backed up septic tanks. Like, this one time just a few months after we were married, I went to move a load of laundry from the washer to the dryer and was met with well over a foot of raw sewage. RAW. From the entire street of houses that we lived on. TMI, I know. It's not nearly so bad this time but that's why I can't remember what I wanted to write about. I've got a lot of crap on my mind. But I'm gonna stop there because I'm sure you don't really want to hear about this side of my life.

On the more idyllic side, my sister is here visiting (No, she isn't impressed with the current lack of indoor facilities.) and so we took her to the Bay of Fundy. Even in the winter, I love it. Sometimes I wish that I lived right on the water but being minutes away is pretty nice too. Since I can't remember what I wanted to say, I'm just going to share a bunch of pictures instead okay?
