I know, I keep going on about how great our weekend was but seriously it was the most relaxed and happy time that we have had in months. So one last indulgence.
Dan celebrated is 30th birthday on Saturday and while we are going to have a little party this coming weekend with some friends, Aneliese and I planned a family birthday party for the four of us. Dan loves autumn and being outside so we decided that a picnic would fun and of course a kite would be the perfect present to accompany the birthday picnic. After a long beautiful walk and naps in the cool air, we enjoyed an old fashioned picnic together.
The feast: chicken, hot potato salad, coleslaw, and a special treat: homemade cream puffs with cold Pop Shoppes
I think that we accomplished our goal of celebrating daddy and husband. I hope that he got even just a small glimpse of how very loved and appreciated he is.
i think it is incredibly beautiful and happy that you keep sharing glimpses from your wonderful weekend!! and seriously that the picture of your two smallest family members who look so forlorn had me laughing out loud!!
Loved reading your inspiring posts! Keep it up. 😉 I like your background too.
No pics of Dan on his birthday?? haha! Looks like a fun time and a tasty feast!
Keep up the pictures. It makes me happy to see everyone. I went to the farmers Market and thought of you as the only thing missing was a booth of handmade children’s clothing.
