An snippet from this afternoon:
We thought we were zipping right along; the road was rough but the girls were sleeping , we were listening to some music and had only about an hour left to go in the day before arriving at our
friends Jeff and Jenny’s house. Then, bam!, in the few seconds it took to stop we were on the rim of one of the trailer tires.
So now we are hanging out on this lovely mountainous, pot-holey, remote New Brunswick highway. That is to say, the three girls are hanging out while Dan changes the tire. And the black flies are so bad that they swarm each time the door is opened.
We made it safely to our friends little town by the ocean.
Oooo…say a BIG hi to Jeff & Jenny for us…give some hugs too. Glad to hear the flat was fixable…..Merilee & Phil

Oh… so sad about the flat tire, but YAY, you’re at the ocean!! And you’re with Jeff & Jenny, how wonderful!! How close will they be to you guys? Man, I am really wanting to come visit all you great East Coast Canadianers (if that’s a word), and you’re not even there yet!
i am quite sure that that love for the sea will never leave them. oh boy. now guess what i’ll be thinking about ALL DAY LONG? : ) thinking of you guys today and cannot wait to see photos of you IN your new home. finally! really looking forward to seeing you there one day.
