Natal Day Parade

Natal Day is the ‘birthday ‘ of Nova Scotia and so in our little town is an even bigger celebration than Canada Day. The festivities start on Friday continuing through until Monday where the big event is the parade. This year’s parade had many fire trucks and princesses (Scallop Princess, Princess Dragon Fly were just a couple) and while I am not complaining, boasted of far less candy than our little Alberta town’s annual parade.

"Mama Mia, Mama Mia, look!" (Much to the amusement of those around us)

Waving to all the fire trucks.

There were a lot of big and fancy trucks!

The girls loved the marching bands.

Thomas!!

One fire truck blared his horn very loudly and with that, Cecily's fun was over.

We live just down the road from a bike club and so there are bikers often who the girls now like to wave at. The one that had Aneliese especially excited was one who had a pair of texas long horns on his helmet. Impressive.
