My blog is going through a make-over. I don’t know what I am doing and so between many interruptions, it will look…interesting…until I get to it. Hence the pink.

Enjoy creating! How fun!
No mostly frustrating for me…this is not my thing. I have a way that I want it to look and a setup that I want but I seem to only be succeeding at making it worse and losing things that I finally figured out. If only my design husband had more time!
I like it!
Ohh…blog renos…FUN!!! I’m working on mine as well. It’s surprisingly tricky to get the structure and elements you really want, isn’t it? I kind of wish I could just ‘freeze’ mine as is while i figure the rest out, then just publish the new one without all the steps in between. Good luck!
I know, me too! I think that the remedy is called “premium”.:) I am seriously so frustrated.
Hmm…you have a blogroll and a category cloud and such a great header– all elements often lacking through WordPress. I’m hoping to find a similar template, but so far, no such luck without paying for it 🙁
I didn’t pay for it Dea, it is Chateau but customized by Dan. So you could have the blogroll and category cloud…and you could customize the header and background…I have no idea how to do that though.
Kay. I just spent HOURS working on finding ‘the best’ new theme, going through a video tutorial on how to use FTP and blah blah blah (you’re right, i know NOTHING about web design), all to find out that (with this .com wordpress) I can never ever use a custom theme. I can’t believe how much time I just used! Wow! And I have nothing to show for it 🙁 So annoyed. And I must say, your work using Chateau is amazing. I really can’t figure out how to get there. It’s these nights where having the techy husband at home would be really handy! I just want to get this done before baby arrives. Grr!
anyways. There’s my vent. And my evening Ha!!
Good work! 🙂
oh missy. you are funny. i actually missed your old boat picture when it wasn’t there last time I clicked on your blog! but mostly I do love what you say so don’t worry about the pink….. I adore pink anyways! hahah Love ya friend. EB
I really like it now!!! And kathleen looks so woolly 🙂
Missy,I have been out of the blogging world for about 6 months now….had to control the amount of time i spent reading online…..but i am back now, with some guidelines to help me control how much time i spend reading these awesome blogs and potentially blogging myself (?). Thanks so much for writing back about Lily and Celiac….very helpful….we are going to try to put her back on gluten starting next week (eek!) and then we’ll see the paediatrician at the end of the 10 days for a blood test for her. It will be good to know either way. Anyways, i just wanted you to know that i ‘pinned’ your weekly meal plan on pinterest onto my ‘gluten free cooking’ board and i will be searching your blog for more recipes for celiac virgin me to use….. feel stuck in a bit of a rut as far as what lily eats….no complaints from her (what a trooper) but as a mama, i just feel i need to give her a better variety. So, thanks for posting your weekly meal plans….be encouraged….I’ll be using them! 🙂
ps. Kathleen is precious!
Good to hear from you Merilee, I hope that you are able to use and enjoy some of the recipes that I share…I would love to hear how they turn out for you. I hope that the testing with Lily goes well and that you are able to find answers. Let me know how it goes. Maybe I seem like a fanatical mother, but if you feel that you have seen great improvement but the blood tests come back negative…I would insist on a biopsy as I have been told and have read multiple times that the only way to get a true diagnosis is through that. Our pediatrician was not pleased that Aneliese had not had that (therefore no official diagnosis) but she has now been completely gluten free for so long that in order to have the biopsy done, she would need to go back on gluten for possibly months and months to have sufficient damage done to the villi for the biopsy to be accurate. So we are kind of stuck because she is so well now that we HATE the thought of putting her through that. Anyways, I don’t want to turn this into a rant, but our experience has made me want to insure that others are informed.
I really like the new look!Just wanted to thank you for visiting my blog.
So great to know more people love the Highland cattle and Jersey’s,not such a common thing here in NS!
Your welcome to visit with them anytime, they are very people friendly, currently we have 21 but are expecting the arrival of 7 more calves to join us by spring.
I’m really enjoying your posts and also wanted to ask more about your experience with a doula…we have hired one for our baby’s birth and I’m new to every part of this 🙂
Blessings.
Oh if you sincerely mean that we can come visit sometime, we would love too. We always so enjoy calving season and we will miss it at my sister’s ranch this year.I am also happy to answer any questions you have about having a doula…mine is also a good friend but she was so helpful and such a blessing in what was a difficult birth. You can email me if you like, chickadeeswing (at) gmail (dot) com.
