At the beginning of February, my husband surprised me with a lens for his old camera. I was thrilled to have something other than my phone for taking pictures and I have been enjoying my friend, Krista’s, weekly photos on Scavenger Hunt Sunday, as well as Beth’s, who joined last week. So this week, I decided to try my hand at joining with some images. It was fun to have a challenge for the week that is a completely different art media than I ever work in.
{How it works}

The rules are simple:

  1. Anyone can participate.You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  2. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  3. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  4. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (we have so many new participants each week, this is the only way I know to be inclusive).
  5. Have fun!

{The Items}

{My Interpretations}

Facial Feature

Is it the big blue eyes, the little button of a nose, or that saucy little tongue? I’m not sure, but I am pretty in love with her!

My photographer husband tells me that the shadow from our counter framed this picture well, I just thought she was beautiful.:)

A golden cup of tea in my favorite tea cup. Who can resist polka dots?

A quilt that I am working on for my daughter, begun in August and finally I am inspired to finish it.
