What we’re doing:

Messy fun, but provides a great deal of pleasure.

A wee one wanting to be close to her mama

Working at home

because it's a snow day.

Listening to some music together

Cleaning

Playing outside with Molly

Our faithful girl

warm soup on a cold day

A song that resonated:

Hold me by Rich Mullins

Some things that I am choosing:

  1. To stop and help my girls work out their conflicts with graceful words.
  2. To aim lower and succeed rather than aim high and fail…this goes counter to my usual perspective.
  3. To stop for kisses and I love you’s.
  4. To wholeheartedly carry my baby as I work.
  5. To follow the schedule with perspective, taking one thing at a time. Yes, that means that washing the paw prints off the stairs that have been resting there since this visit is a success. Regardless of the math, that was my cleaning goal for the morning and it is done! (And we weren’t living on this side so it didn’t really matter.:)
  6. If you are curious, this is the end result of the first picture!

What does your day look like?
