My lens arrived mid week and so we have been happily taking photos again. Although, as I looked back through the week for photos for Scavenger Hunt Sunday, I realized that the absolutely gorgeous weather (28 degrees C./82.4 F.) turned my mind and hands more towards spring cleaning than picture taking. I was able to use the prompts with a little stretching:).
{How it works}
- Anyone can participate.You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
- If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
- Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
- Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (we have so many new participants each week, this is the only way I know to be inclusive).
- Have fun!
{The Items}

{My Interpretations}
Whimsy
I grabbed my camera while Aneliese was playing dress-up and snapped this picture while she, unaware, was poised in thought. The settings on my camera were wrong but something about this captures whimsy for me.
Create
Dust
Our house has little dust, although not due to my stellar housekeeping skills, but this little ash pail that sits by our wood stove is one thing that creates dust if not handled carefully.
Seed or Sprout
Just imagine that all those bull rush seeds (that is what is glistening)floating through the air have the potential to grow...amazing.
Swing or Drop
Next Week’s items….
- Clouds
- Sun flare
- Seven
- High Angle
- Low Angle
What a great set! That last one is sheer perfection.
I agree that your whimsy image is just perfect, no matter what the camera settings were supposed to be. You captured a wonderful moment here.
