Aneliese decided to practice her letters on the cupboard door. They were beautifully done. I couldn’t help but acknowledge that to her after she said that she had done it (obviously, but it’s surprising how hard it can be to be truthful) and before I had her tell me where the appropriate place to practice her letters was. After we got that all figured out, she went to work.
Sweet:) I did the same thing…praised them and then told them where to write instead and got them to help clean it up…they never did do it again…:)
I agree… well handled! Micah also learned a similar lesson this way, unfortunately instead of beautiful letters it was scribbles, and instead of coming off the wall, it definitely has proven extremely difficult to remove! But he’s never done it since (I did have him try to clean it!).
